Here's a video tutorial discussing a technique I use to paint moss on distant buildings in photoshop. This is a fast way to make a building look abandoned and overgrown (like in your post-apocalyptic futurescape) without having to manually place a ton of photographs. Great for concept art and matte paintings for film and videogames.
